While the septuplets continually made headlines whenever they reached a significant event in their lives, the public also wondered what had become of the firstborn McCaughey child. Like her other siblings, Mikayla seems to have worked hard and earned her place in life. She went to college at Des Moines Area Community College and Arizona State University and now lives in Kansas City. She got married in 2015 and two years later they had a son named Becham. She also managed to stay close to her siblings over the years, even as they approached adulthood and reached another turning point.
